Thank you for wanting a spot on my blog (http://deannajewel.blogspot.com). I'm going to leave the choice of questions asked by me - up to you. Rather than me asking you questions about why, what or how you write, I think they would be better answered if the questions came from you. I've started you with a few questions, but I'd like 10 or so questions and answers from you to give the readers a good idea about who you are and why you write what you do. Also, then each interview will be different from the others I do as the questions won't be the same.

Let's start off with a few standard questions and you go from there. I look forward to reading your questions and answers and will post them to my blog. I’ve been leaving the interviews up a week, which is working well and gives the readers a few days to post comments.

Interview questions:

Deanna: Tell us a bit about yourself that our readers might not know.

Deanna: For an evening out, would it be dinner or a movie? What would the dinner be? What might the movie be?

Deanna: Do you prefer wine, whiskey, scotch, or ice tea?

Deanna: What do you do to relax when you aren’t writing?

Deanna: Do you have to split your writing time between a day job?

Deanna: As authors, we’ve sometimes been accused of being several people. How many personalities live in your mind?

Deanna: How many plots do you include in one of your books?

Deanna: Readers love to know how writers spend their day. Tell us about a typical day in your life as a writer.

Deanna: What one thing would you pass on to new writers?

Deanna: Do your books have a common theme or are they all different?

Deanna: What are the physical characteristics that you admire in a man?

Deanna: Tell us about your latest book and the type of reader if may appeal to.

Deanna: Tell us about _________, the hero of your latest book.

Deanna: Tell us about _________, the heroine of your latest book.

I can't wait to get your interview! Also – many authors run a contest with a giveaway. The giveaway item is up to you should you decide to run a contest and pick one of the commenters. Just let me know you want to run the contest so I include it in the interview at the end.

OR - if you'd rather do a character interview from your book or write up your own info to share with the reader, feel free to send me that instead.

- author photo if you have one

- book cover jpg

- completed interview

- contest giveaway, yes or no, and what (e-book or print or gift card)

- virtual location setting, perhaps from one of your books: on a ship, at a crime scene, in a cemetery, in a garden, etc. because I love to set the interview in a location your readers will remember!
